SERI provides a number of innovations, or programs, which foster social enterprise development in Rhode Island.

CHANGE Accelerator

The CHANGE Accelerator provides needed business support to social entrepreneurs who are developing innovative solutions to unmet social needs. CHANGE entrepreneurs get a $1000 fellowship, working space at the Rhode Island Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RI-CIE) in Providence, a community of like-minded social entrepreneurs, access to a expert mentors/advisors and an opportunity to pitch their ideas to a network of social investors.

Social Enterprise Incubation

SERI staff is currently developing a partnership with a Providence-based incubator to offer enterprise start-up resources and mentoring. In addition, we're determining the feasibility of a lab to test new social innovation ideas.

SVP Social Enterprise Fund

Social Venture Partners is building a social enterprise start-up fund to help investors focus their time and financial resources on vetted social enterprises.

Social Enterprise (SE) Marketplace

An online venue and a physical presence at conferences and local events, the marketplace will create opportunities for product sales and awareness of RI-based Social Enterprises.
